Hello and welcome to Wild Tulip Photography!

I'm Wilke, originally from the Netherlands and now living in the beautiful Overberg. In 2016, I came to South Africa to volunteer with horses. What started as a three-month adventure soon became something much bigger. I fell in love with my now husband, the incredible beauty of South Africa, and eventually made Gansbaai my home in 2018.

After graduating from a four-year photography school in the Netherlands, I started building my business and exploring different areas of photography. From family and horse photography to working as a full-time real estate photographer, every experience has helped shape me as a photographer and given me the confidence to work in different areas of photography today.

To me, it is about much more than just the photographs. You are not just booking a photographer, you are booking an experience. My approach is natural, relaxed, and personal. I will guide you along the way, so you don’t have to worry about what to do in front of the camera or how to prepare for your shoot. Together we will capture the moments, details, and stories that are important to you.
