Behind the camera.
Hello and welcome to Wild Tulip Photography!

My name is Wilke Tiellemans, a 31-year-old photographer from the Netherlands🌷 now living in De Kelders, South Africa. My journey here began in 2016 when I came to volunteer with horses. I only planned to stay here for 3 months, but of course – I fell in love. Not only with a lovely man, but also with South Africa’s stunning nature. After two years of living between two continents, I officially made this beautiful place my home in 2018.

I completed a four-year Secondary Vocational Education Level 4 diploma in photography in the Netherlands. Initially I focused on family sessions and then specialised in horse photography, followed by a role as a full-time real estate photographer. These experiences have shaped my work today, giving me the confidence to capture the genuine moments in photoshoots and weddings, while also adding a professional touch to real estate photography.
My aim is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience during our photo session, making you feel at ease and offering guidance when needed, while capturing the love you share with family, your partner, friends, or pets. I love working with natural light in the beautiful nature of The Overberg, helping us to create a piece of art that holds a special memory.

Photographs keep your memories alive— let’s capture it together.
